Summer 2012

Wow, It is hard to believe that summer has come and gone. God has done some truly amazing things this year at Lone Prairie Camp and it has been such a blessing to be a part of them! It was an honor to be part of such an amazing staff this summer as they took time to feed into the lives of those who attended. It was so exciting to learn that there were 15 campers who came to know Christ this summer and even 1 Baptism! Isnt God just so good!at LPC!

This summer we had some very special guests! First Oma and Opa joined us as our first official house guests since moving to camp! It was so great to have them join us for afew days as they were able to experience camp and learn about what it is we do every day. While they were in town they brought Josh Dreger. Andrews cousin, who was able to join us for 2 weeks of camp this year! It was so great having family around!

Throughout the August Long Weekend we were not only blessed to host the many families that attended Family Camp 2012 but it was a true blessing to have had George and Joyce McEachern (My parents) join us for their first experience at LPC! It means so much to have their support as we serve here at Lone Prairie!

The summer finished with a rise in campers, an increase in faith decisions and a hope that seems to be quite unshakable! It is so nice to see our community so excited about what God is doing out at Lone Prairie Camp!

This fall Andrew will be continuing his studies while volunteering as the Senior High Youth Leader at Ellerslie Road Baptist Church! It is so great to be home!

“Christmas is coming the geese are getting fat…”

That’s right we all no how it goes. As the Christmas season appraches things just keep getting busier and busier. Sorry we haven’t had a chance to check in and update you all on life at the Dregers. It has been Crazy, but I will update you quickly on the last little bit and fill you in with more soon!

Danny and Michelle came to visit and it was great to have the opportunity to see them! We are Excited to celebrate their new house with them in April!

Ignite was a success. Starfield performed and we learned what it means to be scared for life. I had the privilege of watching Rod from Castledowns get baptized! It was so great to have the chance to celebrate this amazing declaration with him!

Over the last month or so Andrew, Lukas and I have been enjoying one of the wedding gifts we recieved. Danny and Michelle gave us Battle Star Gallactica the board game. I can honestly say it has to be one of my favorite board games of all time! Lots of fun, and many memories!!! And we are just starting to learn!

As Christmas is approaching we are enjoying the opportunity to spend time baking. Mrs Dreger and I have been practicing many different recipes including some classic german traditional recipies! I also had the chance to learn how to make Gniocci from scratch! Andrew is really enjoying it!

Be sure to visit to check out some of our latest projects!

We love you all and look forward to updating you soon!

October Adventures

As usual life find us very busy as we head from event to event serving and connecting with those around us! This week we had many enjoyable adventures but there were afew of note!
On Saturday while I was at work Andrew helped the family move Oma and Opa Hattenhauer into their new condo while also celebrating selling their house! Lots to do, and lots to celebrate! It was a great day!

Later that evening Andrews took his youth boys who graduated from grade 9 this past school year to the Eskimo’s game. A body painting desaster was tacktfully avoided, and the boys were excited to celebrate when the Eskimos won!!!

Since the weekend Andrew has been tackling a whole new set of  adventures as he tackled our leaking sink. After 2 trips to home hardware, and some very exciting water bursts! We are happy to say that we have a working sink!!!!
Right now the cookies are baking before we head off to Bible study with the youth
